Second Test between AUS and WI: Shamar Joseph bowls West Indies to a breathtaking victory against Australia in the day/night match

On January 28, Australia was stunned by eight runs in Brisbane thanks to an incredible fast bowling display by injured pace bowler Shamar Joseph, who helped his team pull off one of the biggest upsets in Test history.

The West Indies, who traveled to Australia with an under-strength team for the Test series, made four player debuts, including Joseph, in the two Tests.

They lost the first one in Adelaide in three days last week, and they were predicted to lose the second Test in Brisbane. However, on Sunday, they defeated Australia for 207 runs in the second session, earning their first victory in Australia since they last won there in 1997.

Australia had resumed the day at 60-2 with Steve Smith, who carried his bat for an incredible 91 not out, and Cameron Green looking comfortable against Kemar Roach and Alzarri Joseph. Shamar Joseph, who had to retire hurt after being hit on the toe in the second innings on Saturday night, did not bowl on Saturday and only came into the attack 45 minutes into the first session.

He dismissed Green when the Australian No. 4 chopped on, then bowled Travis Head with a beautiful yorker, Head's second first-ball duck of the match. Joseph was outstanding on Sunday, bowling 11.5 overs of hostile pace to finish with 7-68 in just his second Test.

Although Smith appeared unfazed as he reached his half-century, Australia was suddenly 113-4. However, Joseph struck again when Mitchell Marsh edged to Alick Athanaze at third slip and, although the ball popped out of Athanaze's hands, it went straight to Justin Greaves, leaving Australia 132-5 and 84 runs from victory.

Alex Carey was the next to go, clean bowled by a 145 km/h thunderbolt that crashed into off stump, leaving Australia 136-6. Mitchell Starc decided that the best course of action was to attack, smashing 21 runs from just 14 balls before attempting one big hit too many and holing out to Kevin Sinclair in the covers.

The next man out was Cummins, who edged out to a diving Joshua Da Silva behind the stumps. Following the interval, Alzarri Joseph claimed Nathan Lyon was caught behind, and Shamar Joseph completed the innings by bowling Josh Hazlewood through the gate, beating him for pace.
